I've often tried to take photos in more of a studio setting but I've never actually been able to get to it. I've bought all kinds of equipment but never used it. Except this simple cardboard and black poster paper. It seemed like a quick way to make a distraction-free background which my photos severely lack. They are cluttered with all kinds of house-hold stuff generally. While I like the clean lines it provides, I am not sure it is a good narrative aid for the story I am trying to tell.
