New York City is blessed to have two amazing botanical gardens. We are somewhat partial to the closer, smaller and more manageable Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Perhaps also because the Cherry blossoms are just perfect. It is just about the nicest way to spend a spring or summer day in the big city.

Here are some photos from our trip last year. Apart from the awesome Cherry Blossoms, they happened to be running an incredible bonsai festival as well.
