Ice cream has remained my favorite dessert for years. The day feels a bit incomplete without having some. It is the only food that I think I can still have without feeling any guilt. I love to feed the kids ice cream. They love the experience of buying from the ice cream truck than they really like the ice cream itself, I think. 

This photo is from Week #295 at Torico Ice Cream in Jersey City, where the recent resurgence of the area has led to a welcome explosion of ice cream shops. I know of at least 5 within a few blocks. All serving good ice cream with a touch of the modern and weird (coconut ice cream with toasted Sesame seeds, for example.)
