So we decided to take our love for Blueberries to the next level. We have been wanting to pick our own blueberries from the farm for over a year now. We were late last year but this year we picked the right afternoon.

A beautiful bright July afternoon, we headed toward Princeton, about 55 miles. It was a pleasant drive.

We reach this farm about 1 in the afternoon. The procedure was simple, you just pick up buckets and containers and head over to the farm.

Blueberry plants are small ( about 5 feet ) bushes without thorns. There were huge number of blueberries on the bushes. We started picking and we kept picking and we had no idea of how much we had picked. Puja of course was picking way faster and better bigger berries than I was. For me, it was too hot at times but then it would get overcast to give us some relief.

After about and hour and a half, I was exhausted by the heat and decided to call it quits with a bucket full of blueberries.

We were astonished to find that we had picked about 13 and a half pound of blueberries. It was unbelievable. We paid about $1.55 per pund.

Then we cranked the car's AC and had a delicious lunch of Paratha's and Tomato chutney.

Back home, our fridge is filled with blueberries. We have no place to keep other stuff. Moreover, we don't know how long the berries would last -- probably a week. So we need to finish it. We have been taking it to the office for our colleagues to enjoy.

So overall, it was a good experience. It would have been more pleasent had it been a bit cooler.
