It was one of those beautiful, rare days in New York. Not viciously cold, nor abominably windy and neither apallingly hot. A gentle breeze, abundant sunshine and amazingly pretty Hudson river spanning the minor distance between New Jersey and the New York City.

I started what was supposed to be a brief 30 minute run from below my Apartment to the soaring Goldman Sachs below about one and a half mile south by the river. However, the pretty weather got the better of me and I kept running for about 65 minutes. I burnt over a 1000 calories and was almost completely exhausted.

Haven't felt better in a long time though. There is something to be said about running out in the open engulfing nature against the controlled sweat-laced stale air in the gyms.
