Since the day Akshra had a sense that she is being photographed, which happened early in her young life, she has refused to cooperate with me. It is next to impossible to make her pose and the sight of me with a camera (which is really the only sight she sees -- she'd probably not recognize me without the camera) is generally enough for her to not look at me at all.

Anyway, so when her Naani got her to dress in a make-do Sari she finally obliged after much entreaties and some Skittles!
