Yes, she is 20 weeks old! She is entering what I feel is the best age for kids (or perhaps everyone) the 6 to 12 month period. They are joyous and communicative and haven't quite started their tantrums yet. Simply wonderful!

This photo is fairly similar to the photo from the 19th week. This time the light is coming from behind her which accounts for the glow in the hair (as much of it there is.) The other big difference is that this one is shot using the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro IS USM lens at f/3.2. This lens has the most amazing depth-of-field.  Even at a comfortable distance it can focus very sharp and shallow. The eyes are sharp but the hair is out-of-focus which is not a big deal except that I am standing (or actually down on my belly) quite far from her.
