I was fooling around with her the other day and I ended up saying something like - 'I don't want it' and she looked at me sternly and said immediately - 'You get what you get and you don't get upset.' I was stopped in my tracks, so to speak. I looked at her and immediately burst out laughing. Certainly something her teachers told her at school but it still was a lot of fun to get that from her. It helped put everything in perspective - even for just a moment.

This is a photo from week 178. Still learning to deal with the almost ridiculously shallow depth of field of the 100mm macro lens. Here I am about 6-8 feet from her and focusing on her hands and her eyes are soft and the rest of the body is fully blurred.
