I love jump shots. There is a lot of energy in them and they are a lot of fun to do. Akshra has never been a good jumper. Most of her jump shots are actually quite comical. However, she finally seems to be getting somewhere. Still not great, but getting better.
This is on a gorgeous fall morning on our walk from Hoboken back to Newport. I debated about going narrow and focusing on her or leaving it wide and taking in the background. I thought the background, the sky, the building and even the railing added a lot to the motion in the picture. One my favorite shots in a while.
This is taken using my new favorite the Canon 16-35mm 2.8L Ultra Wide Angle Zoom lens
. It is very wide and often distorts reality but provides excellent creative opportunities.This is from Week #213/300.
