What a feeling to live through the day, giving your best, working hard up to the breaking point and then pushing ahead just a bit more. And then when the day wraps itself up in a warm summer shawl you retire into the lap of a glowing evening.
And that's what makes them kids. The end of their day is a reassurance of a life without regrets while ours is a grudging acceptance of our limitations and flaws.
