This photo from Week #25 continues the B&W theme from last week. It is easy enough to make a B&W these days with software but it can be tricky to make a really compelling one. A photo that looks better in B&W than it would in bright cheerful colors. Dark, moody photos always look good in B&W but it is specially challenging when dealing with a cheerful toothless smile of a 25-week old!

Still loving the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM lens! It is fast, IS is great and it is certainly one of the sharpest lenses I've used. It remains difficult to shoot with so you will get a lot of throw-away shots but the keepers will be really good!
