Well, technically she was born over 10 months ago but in my photography world she was born just this weekend. The deal is that I take way too many photos and can never get to process them in time. I am about 10 months behind now and every photo I take pushes me back even more. I just got to last September this weekend. There is a running joke amongst friends and families that there is little point to me taking any photos because no one will ever get to see them. Which isn't really true. I may be late but I am not ever never :)

So in a way I live in two parallel worlds -- the current world and an alternate timeline in my photo library. Similar to the character from the novel Imperfectionists that I wrote about earlier, with the difference that I get to relive the moments and objects in the rearview mirror are closer despite the cliche.

I personally like this photo a lot. This was conceptualized by me and taken by Puja. Nothing novel about the concept but certainly a good, clean, steady shot. The B&W conversion was almost a given. The color version had almost no definition and the pale-green background of the hospital wall was just killing the photo.
