It was one of those days yesterday when nothing happens as planned. You are prompted at every step that you should stop but you generally don't until it is too late.
Today was one of such days. We planned on going to the NY Botanical Garden and had to ditch for the 2nd time in the last few months. After several false starts we ending up not going there. It was the traffic, the rain and an upset baby that finally made us give up. We took the last exit before the George Washington bridge and ended up in the palisades state park. We were just about to go on a mile-long trek when it started pouring. Just as we were running to the car we took this photo which has become our favorite in recent times.
