The hard part about getting the shot of the first sunrise is getting out of bed. Luckily the sunrise this morning was as late as 7:20 am and this was taken just after that. It was a fairly ordinary morning with no real drama in the clouds or the water. However, the morning air felt great on your face and the pale of the sun reflected beautifully over the Hudson river as the new Freedom tower looked over.
