The 20th book I read in 2023 was ‘Case Histories’ by Kate Atkinson. I was really looking forward to reading this book was having heard a lot about Kate Atkinson and I love good pulpy murder mysteries specially when set in Britain. Unfortunately, I found this book underwhelming. It turned out to be a lot more of a character study than a mystery and I didn’t relate to the characters. I am not sure I am going to be reading any more Kate Atkinson any time soon.
